SGT Daniel Stevens spent more than eighteen years in the Army Reserve. He deployed to Romania and served on active duty at Fort Campbell. As an NCO, SGT Stevens trained in fifteen states, as well as Germany. SGT Stevens' leadership throughout his military career included supporting the military Family Readiness Group, as well as the Army’s Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) program. SGT Stevens retired in 2025. With over twenty years of sports officiating experience, SGT Stevens supports seven sports, including playoffs in three sports – one state and one national championship. He completed USA Softball National Umpire School twice and works with four sanctioned slow and fast pitch softball associations. He has umpired one world championship for slow pitch softball. SGT Stevens resides in the Fort Campbell, Kentucky, area and aims to expand refereeing college games. SGT Stevens is an avid writer with a passion for detailing his faith journey as a Messianic Jew, and is beginning his pathway to learning Hebrew.

SPC Daniel Russell enlisted in the U.S. Army in June 1985, training as an Airborne Infantry Soldier (MOS 11B) at Fort Benning, Georgia, where he earned his Blue Infantry Cord and Jump Wings. He served in Germany with the 51st Infantry Long Range Surveillance (LRS) before transferring to Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He received an honorable discharge after four years of military service. SPC Russell returned to officiating in 2008, focusing on high school and college volleyball. Dan enjoys teaching others the craft. Now living in Madisonville, Kentucky, he recently celebrated ten years of marriage with his wife, Kendra.

Jason (Jay) Schwartz has a 25-year US Army Medical Service Corps career, having deployed three times in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. With undergraduate and master’s degrees in healthcare administration from the University of South Dakota and Baylor University, he also holds Series 60, 63, and 65 securities licenses, as well as life and health insurance licenses in Kentucky, Maryland, South Dakota, and Tennessee. Jay is a Financial Advisor for First Command Financial Services focused on helping his clients pursue their financial goals through knowledge and trust. He’s an Active Member of Leadership Clarksville, a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, and a Coach of youth baseball, basketball, football, and softball. He is also the husband of an active-duty military wife and father to two children.

John Holbrook is a retired Master Sergeant with a 29-year US Army career with three Army Meritorious Service Medals, three Army Commendation Medals, seven Army Achievement Medals, and multiple RCI Program Managers Award for surpassing mission goals. After retiring, he spent fifteen years serving soldiers and veterans in a DOD civilian capacity at Fort Campbell. In addition to receiving a significant number of civilian awards, he completed three college degrees in statistical database management, and is currently pursuing an MBA. He currently serves as Kentucky Colonel for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Ryan Lawrence spent 30 years in the US Army and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. His military career included deployments to Egypt, Qatar, Panama, Thailand, and Iraq, while also serving stateside, and in European and African posts. He received countless metals and training. His enlistment ended as a Grader/Evaluator for Reserve Component Drill Instructors having led basic military training. Following his active-duty service, ROTC scholarships supported him attaining both an undergraduate and master’s degree in international relations with an emphasis in French at the University of Toledo in Ohio. Ryan’s 25+ years of coaching includes youth, junior varsity, and varsity basketball in Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Germany, and Italy. He recently registered as a basketball official and looks forward to supporting youth in Tennessee.
